My Background

I was raised with the appreciation for botany, geology and the intricacy of ecological niches.  These subjects were explored in my childhood with crayons and watercolors, as an adult, with photography, and currently with fiber and mixed media pieces.  I have experience in weaving, natural dyeing, garment design, traditional quilting and other similar endeavors.  I have been creating art quilts, beaded forms, and assemblages since my retirement a little over six years ago.
